Birthing Hope
Growing up, I wasn’t attracted to children.
Really, I had no interest.
And then I got pregnant, and everything changed.
My son says, “Mom, it’s just hormones, nothing more.”
But it feels to me like love of the strongest variety, as I watch my kids from (before) birth to the present.
They are sunshine and freshness and hope.
